Check out this fun, four-minute video produced for BikeOvernights.org by The Path Less Pedaled's Russ Roca and Laura Crawford. Highlights include the Columbia River Gorge, with its numerous tall waterfalls and Historic Columbia River Highway. The overnight ride featured was organized by CycleWild, a very cool organization that reconnects people with nature via the bicycle.

I rode the length of the Historic Columbia Gorge Highway a few weeks ago. Amazing and fun. Lots to see and interesting people to talk too from all over the US. I've ridden it several times!

Great video! We do this ride frequently and used it for the first leg our cross-country ride 3 years ago.

Max can be helpful, but for this route, you miss out on some of the best cycling Portland has to offer -- The Springwater Corridor Trail.

It is so flat and fast that I'm not sure you save much time on Max, and you miss a great ride. The total biking distance jumps from 22 to 41 miles, still accessible to most anyone.
